FORGE BOARD

ISAAC ALLIN
Chairman
I am a proud husband and father of 4 (3 boys and a girl). I coordinate a program called Life Renewal at my local church. Since completing Life Renewal myself, developing a deeper relation with the other men in my small group and attending a Men’s conference hosted at my church on the topic of purity, I have felt the need to build a men’s focused Christ-centered ministry to help men develop further their own relationship with Christ and then formulate deeper relationships with other men. I am now the chair on the board here at The Forge and have been involved with it since its origin. I am excited to be a part of this growing ministry and look forward to the potential of reaching more men ultimately to the glory of God. I hope you can join us and grow with us to that end.

ANDREW HUTCHINSON
Clerk
Entering his 30s, Andrew is a husband to Katie since 2017 and a father of 2. He has been active serving in and leading IT committees in churches and schools, and spends a lot of his time in mentorship roles to the Church's youth first in Guelph Emmanuel Canadian Reformed Church, and now in Living Waters URC. He works as a technical lead in an IT sysadmin role. He joined the Forge board in early 2019.

In my early twenties, I had a drastic turn-around regarding my personal struggles with lust, and since then I have seen the growing need within and around me for accountability, for solid, honest connections amongst Christian men. I believe firmly in the benefits of good, Christ-centered friendships and seek to build these up wherever I have opportunity.
I am a co-founder of The Forge, filling the role of AV/technical specialist, and I hope to use this ministry to strengthen men around me, struggling men, who need to see clearly the light and grace of the Saviour just as I did.

MARK WANDERS
Board Member
Husband to Joanne for 28 years, father of 6, foster dad to 1, Mark lives in Grimsby serving in a lead role in the URC church in discipleship and evangelism. Living out, teaching, and encouraging in following Christ in these areas, he overlaps as a small business coach, and marriage mentor. He blogs regular at The Artisan Post, on marriage, leadership, and the Christian faith. He’s on staff with his wife at Family Life Canada, a ministry bringing help and hope to marriages, and loves to see people reach their full potential in Jesus Christ. He joined the Forge board at the end of 2019. In his free time, he might be reading, smoking his pipe, or finding a quiet spot to think, sometimes by boat as did our Lord…“Jesus withdrew by boat privately to a solitary place.”

I grew up in Beamsville, Ontario, for the majority of my life. I am a member of Immanuel URC and I am studying in the humanities at Brock University. My passion is for souls and to make the name of Christ known to all peoples and nations. Crushing books, podcasts, and playing music is my version of productivity as a self learner. My hope is to be a side character in a far greater story that is leading to Jesus

I'm 25 years old, living close to Tillsonburg Ontario and working as a diesel mechanic in that area. I am married and my first child is due to arrive in the middle of October. I've been involved with this conference since it began. The reason I am here is because I want people to see the beauty of Jesus Christ and to grow in their knowledge and relationship with Him. I believe that this proper relationship with Him will result in honest, open relationships with the people around them

I’m a Jesus follower and really grateful for it. I work as a filmmaker at a studio in Beamsville and I am currently at Brock for my undergrad, Seminary next year. I’m at Forge because I love being part of the community of Christ gathering together and supporting each other. My free time is spent talking with the boys about theology, preferably with a pipe in one hand and a bubbly in the other.
